Das Kleine Pilzbuch (The Little Fungi Book), 1937. The book title is in Fraktur, the German manuscript handwriting style invented by Leonard Wagner. The format of the Insel-Bücherei (Insel-Verlag picture books) was later used by Tschichold for the King Penguin series, particularly the cover-pattern technique and the title plate with its distinctive ruled border and delicate fleurons.
